If you cheat on your partner, you don't love that person? If you are unfaithful, you are not in love?
I don't care if people "make mistakes." I don't care if we're "all human."
Cheating is not a mistake you make when you truly love your spouse/partner.
If you are a person who has cheated on your partner/spouse and still believe you love that person, this may prove you wrong.
An explanation why a cheating partner/spouse cannot cheat and still be in love with that person.
Urges to cheat on your partner comes from never really wanting to commit to a relationship — but still selfishly wanting all the benefits of having one.
Independence and the ability to do what you want, but also enjoy having someone to cuddle and go to dinner with. Basically wanting your cake & eating it springs to mind.
Cheating partners want the benefit of having their faithful partner waiting for them at home while they are off kissing strangers in bars. In reality, they lie - "in a relationship" is only when their partner is present.
Cheating partners don't care enough about their relationships to not risk ruining them. They don't respect their partners enough to treat them like royalty.
